    Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Algeria discuss Russian HRC suspension

    Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein discussed Russia’s suspension from the Human Rights Council with Saudi, Egyptian, and Algerian counterparts. Hussein talked on the phone with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, Ramtane Lamamra, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said.

    Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Algeria discuss Russian HRC suspensionOn the call, Russia’s position was discussed regarding voting on the draft decision to suspend its membership in the Human Rights Council, exchanging views, and evaluating all developments in international and regional issues of common concern, navigating the various challenges facing the region, and pushing for peaceful solutions that will advance the process of cooperation to achieve the hopes of peace and development.
