MENA Newswire News Desk: The new BMW X3 has been officially launched, presenting a new chapter for the popular Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) with enhanced design, electrification, and dynamic performance. Designed for the premium midsize segment, this model includes a range of powertrains and state-of-the-art technology that sets it apart. With its fourth generation, BMW introduces a new design language and improved digitalization for both comfort and driving experience.

At the heart of the new BMW X3 is a broad selection of powertrains, including the efficient BMW X3 30e xDrive plug-in hybrid, which offers up to 90 kilometers of electric range under the WLTP cycle. Other variants include petrol and diesel models equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology, providing dynamic performance and fuel efficiency. The M50 xDrive leads the lineup with its powerful six-cylinder engine, offering exceptional agility and top-tier performance.

The new BMW X3 features a bold design with a larger kidney grille, optional contour lighting, and redesigned headlights. Inside, the premium cabin blends spaciousness with the latest technology, including the BMW Curved Display and BMW iDrive with QuickSelect. The SAV also boasts several driver-assistance features like automated parking and a host of safety systems to enhance both convenience and safety.

A notable aspect of the new BMW X3 is its sustainability initiatives. The SAV is produced with a focus on resource conservation, including the use of recycled materials and reduced carbon emissions throughout its lifecycle. Production takes place at BMW Group Plants in Spartanburg (USA) and Rosslyn (South Africa), with the latter being the sole location for the plug-in hybrid model.

In addition to its design and performance enhancements, the new BMW X3 continues the success story of the model, which has become a global leader in its segment with more than 3.5 million units sold worldwide. The new generation is set to hit the U.S. and European markets in late 2024, with expansion to other regions expected in 2025.
