    UAE and Egypt to discuss bilateral cooperation during state visit

    MENA Newswire News Desk: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, arrived in Cairo for a working visit, where he was received at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration between the two nations. During the welcoming ceremony, President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the UAE’s continued commitment to fostering strong relations with Egypt.

    He noted that the discussions during this visit are expected to further the strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in areas of economic development and political cooperation. Sheikh Mohamed is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, and several UAE ministers. Their involvement signals the importance of the visit in enhancing UAE-Egypt ties and expanding cooperation in strategic sectors.

    The two leaders are expected to discuss a range of regional and international issues, with a particular focus on the humanitarian situation in the region. Both sides have consistently supported efforts to provide aid to affected areas, and this visit is likely to build upon that cooperation.
